About
A return, with intention.
Photography has been my quiet language for as long as I can remember. For some seasons of life, motherhood took the lead — and rightly so — but the camera never left my hand. Now, with two confident feet on the ground, I'm stepping back into it as a profession.
My work lives in the in-between: the fingertip on a parent's palm, the sigh before sleep, the look exchanged across a tiny new person. I photograph in a soft, editorial style — warm tones, honest light, compositions that feel composed but never staged. Sessions take place in my home studio in Spennymoor, County Durham — warm, calm, and set up entirely around your baby's pace.

A relaxed 1–2 hour shoot at my warm, light-filled home studio in Spennymoor, County Durham. Newborn-led pace, no rushing.
02 — The gallery
10–15 hand-edited images sent by email in a private online gallery within two weeks. Prints available on request for a small additional charge based on size and quantity.
03 — The exchange
Signed consent to use selected images in my portfolio, website and social channels.

Before
We chat about your baby, your home, the look you love. I share a simple prep guide and what to wear.

Arrival
You come to my warm, light-filled home studio in Spennymoor. Tea, biscuits, no rush.

The shoot
1–2 hours, baby-led. We photograph in soft natural and styled light — wraps, parents, tiny details.

After
A private online gallery of 10–15 hand-edited images sent by email within two weeks. Prints available on request for a small extra charge.

Where do sessions take place?+
All sessions take place in my home studio in Spennymoor, County Durham. The space is warm, calm and set up specifically for newborns.
When is the best time for a newborn session?+
The sweet spot is between 5–10 days, when newborns sleep deeply and curl naturally for those classic poses. That said, it's never too late to enquire — I completely understand that the early days aren't always easy, and beautiful sessions can still be done beyond that window. Get in touch whenever feels right for you.
How long does a session take?+
Plan for 1–2 hours. Sessions are entirely baby-led — we pause for feeding, soothing and cuddles whenever needed.
When will I receive my photos?+
Your private online gallery of 10–15 hand-edited images is sent by email within two weeks of your session, ready to download and share.
Are prints available?+
Yes — prints are available on request for a small additional charge. The price depends on the print size and quantity. Just let me know what you'd like after viewing your gallery.
What's provided at the session?+
Everything is taken care of — wraps, outfits, props and toys are all provided in my home studio. You're welcome to bring your own favourite toy or keepsake too if you'd like a personal touch in your photos.
